2012: Debutant directors to make a mark in Bollywood


The year 2012 is going to see many new directors making their debuts at the box office. Here is a list of some promising directors.
Ashish R Mohan: Makes his debut as director in Khiladi 786 produced by Himesh Reshammiya and Akshay Kumar who will also star in it.
Karan Malhotra: Assisted directors like Rajkumar Santoshi, Farhan Akhtar and Karan Johar. His debut flick Agneepath stars Hrithik-Priyanka.
Top 20: The most awaited films of 2012

Rajesh Mapuskar: After assisting Rajkumar Hirani in 3 Idiots and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, he is hoping to set things on the fast track with Ferrari Ki Sawaari.
Anu Menon: Popularly known as Lola Kutty, this VJ is making London, Paris, New York starring Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari.
Vishal Mahadkar: Having worked as an assistant director, he is making his start with Blood Money.
Mandeep Kumar: Having directed a Punjabi movie, he is looking forward to his first Hindi movie Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya as director with Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza.
Shakun Batra: Assisted in the production of Jaane Tu... and Rock On!!, he makes his debut with Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
Buzz is Kolavari Di Dhanush is in talks with Hrithik for his Bollywood directorial debut.
Rakeysh Mehra's assistant Prerna Wadhawan debuts with an untitled film starring Neil Nitin Mukesh.
South director Susi Ganesan is making Shortcut Romeo with Neil Nitin Mukesh.
