This is 125th birth anniversary of eminent mathematician Ramanujan. On the occasion a movie on Ramanujan is being made. Madhavan is all set to play the mathematician in a film soon
Maddy who’s very interested in the subject kept researching on Ramanujan. As part of his preparation, he also decided to put on weight as he found the mathematician to be overweight.
Titled The Man Who Knew Infinity, and based on the book of the same name byRobert Kanigel, the film will be directed by Matt Brown and produced by Edward Pressman.
Colin Firth, of The King’s Speech fame, is being approached to play the other vital role in the subject, that of G H Hardy. The relationship between Ramanujan and Hardy is key to this film as explored in the book.
