Yesteryear actress battling a lonely life

The world of glamour is known to be a worshiper of a rising sun hence it’s rare that anyone would ever care to pay heed to the fallen stars. And the tales of many such superstars have flooded us time and again. The latest to join the infamous league is yester year actress Achala Sachdev who is popularly known for being the face of hit song ‘Ae Meri Zohra Zabeen’. Today that smiling face is pale with deadly diseases and is looking out for some familiar faces in times of loneliness.
The actress is currently admitted in a hospital in Pune and is solely dependant on strangers for her well being. She is suffering from quadriplegia and experts say that the chances of her survival are very thin. She has done almost 250 films in her career but currently is spending a lonely life in despair. Achala Sachdev was married to a British national Clifford Douglas Peters and was settled with him in Pune. After his death in 2002 she was left with her two kids, one daughter who resides in Mumbai and a son who is in US. However neither of them has shouldered the responsibility of taking her care.
