KS Ravikumar having proved his staying power as a director in Tamil cinema will try to conquer Bollywood. He has been roped in for a movie with Sanjay Dutt and KSR said that he is considering doing a remake of the Vikram blockbuster, Saamy made by his former assistant Hari. The director said it was too early to provide information about the rest of the cast and crew and promised that all details will be available shortly.
This project will take off once Kochadaiyaan with Rajini is wrapped up some time in April, 2012. KSR added that Rajini and he were still keen to make Rana and they will not shelve it but begin work on it once they have finished ongoing projects.
