TWO BIRDS ONE STONE

These days every other Bollywood seems to be inspired by South Indian movies. Given that we know our entertainment quite well, it's no wonder Bollywood producers are looking southwards to buy remake deals. However, in Tamil quite a new trend is emerging. Rather than selling the Telugu rights of movies, producers are finding it exciting to make movies simultaneously in two languages. Here are a few:

Billa 2 - this year's most sensational movie - is being dubbed in Telugu. Unlike the earlier Billa, that was remade in Telugu, Billa 2 is opting for the dubbing route.

Gautham's Neethaane En Ponvasantham is being made in Telugu simultaneously and the Telugu version is called Yeto Velli Poyindhi Manasu.

Selvaraghavan's Irandam Ulagam will be called Brindavanomlo Nandakumarudu in Telugu and will be released as a dubbed film.

Saguni is going to Telugu as well, and is even titled the same, as a dubbing movie.
