Ajith shoots for English VinglishUltimate star Ajith has completed the shoot for English Vinglish with yesteryearactress Sridevi Boney Kapoor.
Initially Amitabh Bachchan was supposed to reprise the role that he did in the Hindi version in Tamil too. But h backed out at the last moment and the baton was passed to Ajith.
Helmed by Gauri Shinde, the film is aboutSridevi as a helpless housewife who is mocked at by everyone due to her not knowing English and her efforts to master the language.
Priya Anand of 'Nootrenbadhu' aka 180 fame is also seen in the film.
English Vinglish releases simultaneously in all three languages on October 5.
